On the evening of January 29th, 2021 at SCC Investment Corporation Company (SCCI), SCC solemnly organized the Gala YEP 2020 with the participation of more than 200 members including the Board of Directors and employees of the member companies of the SCC Grand Family.

The bustling atmosphere of the last days of the year seems to signal a new season is coming. It is spring – the season of blooming flowers, the season of the blue sky, the season of hope filled…
In this atmosphere, SCC Company organized the Gala YEP 2020. This is not only an annual event of SCC but also a cultural feature of the Grand Family, an opportunity for the Board of Directors to summarize and record the results of employees after a year and get together in solidarity.

The theme for this YEP is encapsulated in one word “Feel”. That is also the brief and dynamic message that the Board of Directors wants to convey to all SCC’s employees. After two questions “What do you feel when going through 2020 with many changes?” and “Have you felt the changes in your life since the epidemic?” are moments of quiet thinking of SCC’s Grand Family members.
It can be said that 2020 is an unforgettable year for countries in the world when the Covid-19 epidemic swept over more than 200 countries and left extremely heavy consequences on many territories. In Vietnam, epidemics and natural disasters, storms and floods have upset the lives of countless people on the beloved S-shaped strip of land. Covid-19 has completely changed the way people organize their lives, from public spaces to the living habits of each individual, blowing a new wind in the perception and thinking of each person, so that people can appreciate health more, live more responsibly with the community, appreciate family life and many other meaningful things.
The year 2020 ends with many difficulties and challenges coming from the epidemic, but it is also an opportunity for corporate culture to be clearly shown. At SCC, the Board of Directors proactively responded and protected the employees’ health before the Covid-19 epidemic season. The Board of Directors has created conditions for all employees to maximize their capacity in the most comfortable mental conditions, to maintain the spirit of optimism and active energy during the epidemic. All SCC employees have also shown their sense of responsibility, harmony, solidarity, and joining hands to repel the epidemic.
Not only taking care of the life and health of employees, SCC Company always actively shows community responsibility as a thread throughout the 22-year development process. Following the program, there was the prize awarding contest of “Chung Cake & Tet Cake Competition”, which was held on January 28 with the theme of “Tet full of joy”. The contest received the enthusiastic response from SCC, SCCI, PLC and SMC companies and was divided into 3 teams including: Northern Chung Cake Team 32 people, Central Tet Cake Team 29 people and 28 people in the Southern Tet Cake Team. The contest is not only an opportunity for SCC’s Grand Family to reunite, learn together about the typical types of traditional cakes in each region and maintain a long-standing traditional cultural beauty of old ancestors, but also cohesion, building a family-friendly and loving culture at work.
After a time of joining hands, coordinating smoothly and skillfully, 3 teams participating in the Contest completed their competition with the results: The Northern Chung Cake Team packed 134 pieces, meeting the requirements of 112 pieces; The Central Tet Cake Team packed 102 pieces; The Southern Tet Cake Team packed 101 pieces. In the end, the first prize belonged to the Central Tet Cake Team; the second winners were the Northern Chung Cake Team and the Southern Tet Cake Team.
