In the hot early summer days, through the introduction of the Vietnam Children Fund, Charity Club Warm With Love founded by SCC Company came and worked with the Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs, Son Hoa District, Son Hoi Commune. The first time to survey this locality in May 2020, the volunteer team of the club was deeply moved when witnessing the path of difficultly approaching the letters of the mountain pupils. From Tan Hiep village, pupils who want to go to school have only one way. If they cannot go, they have to quit school or if they avoid another road, they have to go around to other villages to reach the school. In particular, every time it rains, the flood water rises, people and pupils have to travel more than 15 kilometers to go to school, as well as transport goods. In the rainy season, the spring water rises about 2.5m above the spillway, clogging the local traffic, the Party Committee has to assign staff to coordinate with the school, the parents of pupils to take the pupils to school to avoid being swept away by floodwaters. But this is also the only way for people and pupils to travel. Also because the way to school is so difficult that many pupils have to accept stopping unfinished dreams.

Therefore, the club and the construction unit have coordinated with local officials to consider, evaluate the current situation and make a decision to implement the program “BUILD BRIDGES FOR CHILDREN TO GO TO SCHOOL” with the first project, “Tan Hiep Pipe Culvert Construction” to minimize the risks that pupils may face on the way to school.

As everyone can see, in the last flood season, pictures of children unable to go to school when the floods came, the water receded and still the mud that ravaged the roads, the importance of the civil projects as “Tan Hiep Pipe Culvert Construction” project in Son Hoi commune is more and more expected. Therefore, the program “BUILD BRIDGES FOR CHILDREN TO GO TO SCHOOL” will continue to be effectively deployed by the club to many localities and remote areas, with many different forms both mentally and physically.

The civil project “Tan Hiep Pipe Culvert Construction” with the cost to carry out the construction of more than 2 billion has been opened.

Hopefully more and more donors, golden hearts and sponsors will realize the meaning of the bridges connecting these knowledge banks, joining hands to contribute to build more other civil projects to help pupils in mountainous and remote areas, to relieve their hardship, and empower them to fulfill their unfinished dreams.

The Club will continue to mobilize donors to help people in remote areas overcome difficulties and thrive in their lives. Once again, the club would like to thank the Vietnam Children Fund, the Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs, the leaders of all levels, and local departments for their support to the club and the construction unit in the past.
