THE CHARITY CLUB WARM WITH LOVE SUPPORTED 84 MILLION VND FOR K HOSPITAL – TAN TRIEU CAMPUS AND CENTRAL HOSPITAL FOR TROPICAL DISEASES
In order to join hands with the community in the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, on May 13rd, 2021, Charity Club Warm with Love supported VND 84 million to order 2,400 meals for doctors, patients and patients’ family members at K Hospital – Tan Trieu Campus and the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Facing the increasingly complicated disease situation, key hospitals of the Hanoi health sector have to cope with difficulties. On May 5th, 2021, the Hanoi government decided to medically isolate the entire Dong Anh campus of the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases until May 19th, 2021 after detecting 14 positive cases among tested more than 300 samples of healthcare workers, patients (except COVID-19 patients) and patients’ family members.

According to the sharing of the Social Work Department at K Hospital, the current need of the hospital is to arrange meals for all doctors, patients and patients’ families up to 10,000 meals a day. The Charity Club transferred VND 42 million to K Hospital to order 1,200 meals to partially support the hospital’s difficult days during the Covid-19 epidemic prevention period.
Besides that, to promptly encourage the frontline medical staff to fight the epidemic during this difficult period, on the afternoon of May 13rd, 2021, the Charity Club Warm with Love also transferred another 42 million VND to the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases to supply 3 meals a day for all doctors, patients, and patients’ families.
Hopefully, this timely support of the Charity Club has reduced some of the pressure on the team of doctors and nurses to prevent the epidemic. With these practical actions, the Charity Club and the community wish to provide a source of motivation to help medical staff as well as patients soon overcome the current difficulties, quickly control and prevent the disease epidemic and contribute to the success of the disease prevention and control of the people of the country.
