THE PROGRESS UPDATE OF TAN HIEP PIPE CULVERT CONSTRUCTION IN PHU YEN PROVINCE OF THE CHARITY CLUB WARM WITH LOVE
In order to share the difficulties with pupils and people in Son Hoi commune, Son Hoa district, Phu Yen province, when it is affected by natural disasters in rainy season, The Charity Club Warm With Love in coordination with the Consulting & Supervision Unit, Saigon Construction Corporation (SCC), has been implementing the program “BUILD BRIDGES FOR CHILDREN TO GO TO SCHOOL” aims to create better conditions for children to go to school safely and continue to realize their dreams of approaching knowledge, and to make economic connections for people in the two villages of Tan Luong and Tan Hiep… Up to now, the construction is being urged to ensure completion on schedule, bringing good news to people at the earliest.
The Tan Hiep pipe culvert project has been implemented by The Charity Club Warm With Love in coordination with the Consulting & Supervision Unit, Saigon Construction Corporation (SCC).
Existing Tan Hiep pipe culvert, 25 years old (5m wide, 1.3m high), is the only project serving the movement of people and pupils of Tan Hiep and Tan Luong villages.
Tan Hiep pipe culvert project have completed construction of temporary roads.
The Tan Hiep pipe culvert construction is being urged to ensure completion on schedule, bringing good news to people at the earliest.
Barriers and temporary road traffic diversion signs are installed to ensure safety and convenience for people.
Existing Tan Hiep pipe culvert, 25 years old (5m wide, 1.3m high), is the only project serving the movement of people and pupils of Tan Hiep and Tan Luong villages. When the rainy and flood season prolongs, the spring water rises over 2.5 meters above the culvert surface, blocking local traffic, making it impossible for all households, as well as pupils, to cross. Every rainy season, the Commune People’s Committee assigns staff to coordinate with the school, parents and pupils to take pupils to and from school to avoid causing the floodwaters to be swept away.
The construction team is checking the current status, performing positioning, and measuring the actual altitude to demolish old culverts.

Tan Hiep pipe culvert construction, with the size of 2 x (4.4 x 3.0) m perpendicular to the existing road center, length of culverts L = 13.00m, combined with upgrading height, making concrete pavement cement with a total length of 72.47m, have estimated cost of over 2 billion VND.
Started in the morning of August 18th, 2020, in Tan Hiep village, Son Hoi commune, Son Hoa district, Phu Yen province, Tan Hiep pipe culvert is the first volunteer project of the program “BUILD BRIDGES FOR CHILDREN TO GO TO SCHOOL” will be focused on effectively deploying to many localities, remote areas, with many different forms, both mentally and physically.
The workers process and install the rebar and check it thoroughly.
Everyone works passionately from early morning to late afternoon to ensure the project progress.

According to Construction License No. 695 / UBND-GPTC issued by Son Hoa District People’s Committee on August 12th, 2020. Estimated construction time is 3 months.
